Scuba logbook & dive planner
Every dive,
mapped.
Log depth, time, gas and conditions. Watch your sites bloom across a 3D globe. Plan the next dive with real tides, slack water and marine warnings — and bring the logbook you already have with you.
What’s inside
A dive logbook that does something with your dives
Most logbooks are a filing cabinet. Dyvo derives everything it can from the dives you log — the map, the trips, the badges, the stats — so an evening spent typing in twenty years of paper pays you back the moment you finish.
Log every dive
Depth, bottom time, gas, tank pressures, water and air temperature, visibility, current, suit and weight, buddy, marine life, notes and photos. Unlimited, free, forever.
Your world, mapped
Every site you have dived as a glowing pin on a MapKit imagery globe. Tap a pin for the dives you logged there. 300+ well-known sites are built in so you can pick a reef by name instead of typing coordinates.
Plan with real marine data
A 0–100 divability score built from swell, period, wind, current and rain, plus NOAA tides, slack water and live NWS marine warnings.
Bring your old logbook
Photograph paper pages, or import from Shearwater, Subsurface, Garmin, your Apple Watch, or straight off your dive computer over Bluetooth.
60 badges, earned retroactively
Badges are judged against your whole logbook every time it changes — so an import awards everything it earned, pinned to the dive that did it.
Trips that group themselves
Consecutive dives near each other over more than one day become a trip automatically. No trip screen to fill in; correct the boundaries if the rule guesses wrong.
Stats worth opening
A live map of any range, plus depth, duration, gas, seasonality, sites, buddies and gear — and a shareable Year in Review card each December.
Dive with your crew
Connect by a private link, share the dives you choose, and see everyone’s log of the same dive side by side under “Also on This Dive.”
Gear locker & C‑cards
Track regs, computers and suits with service intervals and “dives since last service.” Keep your certification cards where they work offline.
Private by design
Sign in with Apple, your dives in your own iCloud. No ads, no third‑party analytics, no data sold. Export the lot to CSV or UDDF whenever you like.
Your logbook
A logbook worth keeping
Search by site, buddy or notes. Filter by type and year. Your running totals — dives logged, bottom time, your deepest — sit at the top and keep themselves up to date.
- Every dive card leads with a photo when the dive has one
- Instant search and filters across your whole history
- Depth profile charts from any imported dive computer
- Underwater colour correction that puts back the red the water took
- Metric or imperial, switched anywhere, stored once
Migrating in
Your dives are already logged somewhere. Bring them.
The stack of paper in a drawer is the reason most divers never switch apps. Dyvo reads all five sources on device, drops them into one review sheet, and lets you fix what the parser could not read before anything is saved. Your first bulk import is free and uncapped.
Paper logbook
Photograph the pages. Recognised entirely on your iPhone.
UDDF files
Shearwater Cloud, Subsurface, Diving Log and anything else that exports UDDF.
Garmin FIT
Descent and fēnix files, straight out of a Connect export — zips and all.
Apple Watch
Ultra dives from Apple Health, with depth and temperature samples.
Bluetooth
Download dives directly off a supported dive computer.
…and back out
CSV and UDDF export, free forever. Your data is never held hostage.

Questions
The things divers ask first
Is dive logging really free?
Yes, and unlimited. A logbook is a diver’s permanent record — dive counts matter for certifications and for checking in at a shop — so capping it would mean holding your own memories hostage. Dyvo Pro sells the forecasting and analysis on top, never the record itself.
Can I get my dives back out?
Any time, free, in two formats. CSV is the complete record; UDDF 3.2 is the interchange format the rest of the diving world reads, including depth profiles. Neither is behind the paywall, deliberately: an export that only paying users get is not an escape hatch.
Do I need an internet connection?
Only to sync and to fetch a forecast. Logging, the logbook, your certification cards, badges, stats and your buddies’ shared dives all work offline, and a bundled ocean-temperature almanac answers “how warm is the water here in August” with no signal at all.
Which devices does Dyvo run on?
iPhone on iOS 18 or later. There is a Lock Screen dive timer, a home-screen widget, and Siri Shortcuts for logging a dive and asking for your stats.
